Pie-making workshop

Pies are a basic part of Greek cuisine, they are made and eaten all around the country. They come in all kind of fillings, sizes and shapes, made with phyllo-pastry or heavier ones. You can see Greeks eating pies in the morning, during lunchtime or in the evening. Sometimes it's a breakfast, a full snack or an appetizer. The most famous of all is unquestionably spanakopita which is made with spinach and feta cheese wrapped in a phyllo. However the long row of pies doesn't end here: there are ones filled with mushrooms, leeks, mixed greens, chicken or simply cheese.
